New Chevy Premier Plus Trim Kicks Up V8 Power On Tahoe And Suburban

If you are in the market for a large SUV, you have likely considered the Chevrolet Tahoe or the Chevrolet Suburban. They are two of the most popular large SUVs on the market, and for good reason. This dynamic duo offers drivers robust body-on-frame-construction, a significant towing capacity, a spacious and comfortable interior, and head turning style.

The capabilities cannot be matched by other competitors such as the Honda Pilot and the new Volkswagen Atlas. Despite this fact, Chevy has raised the bar even higher with the release of the all-new Premier Plus trim level which offers Boston, MA area drivers additional power, style and comfort.

What Engine is Offered In The Chevy Premier Plus Trim?

The new Tahoe Premier Plus and Suburban Premier Plus provide consumers a new 6.2L V8 powertrain that produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. This engine recently debuted on the new Chevy Tahoe RST and Suburban RST and is a significant increase from the 5.3L V8 355 HP standard engine.

According to Sandor Piszar, director of Chevy Truck Marketing, there was a strong demand for a more powerful engine in the Tahoe and Suburban, “Thirty-six percent of all Chevy full-size SUV special edition models are now sold with this engine. Premier Plus gives both Suburban and Tahoe customers another option to choose from with several added premium touches.”

What Options Come With the Tahoe And Suburban Premier Plus?

In addition to a powerplant that smokes the competition, the new Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus offer 22-inch polished wheels, gold Chevrolet bowtie logos, two tone black and mahogany leather seats that are both heated and cooled, heads up display, and much more.

The new Premier Plus SUVs also come equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission and magnetic ride control that delivers a superior ride quality through a smart suspension system that reads the road every millisecond and makes adjustments.

How Much Do The 2019 Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus Cost?
