When you think “fuel efficient” does the Chevy Corvette immediately spring to mind? It should seeing as it’s been named the most fuel efficient sports car in the U.S. with an estimated 29 miles per gallon highway safety rating.

Another interesting thing about the Corvette? Its home, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is also the site of the largest array of solar panels of any auto manufacturer in the state. In fact, the energy produced from those panels would be enough to build approximately 850 Chevy Corvette’s!
