Well, doubters, meet the new 2017 Chevy Bolt the latest all-electric incarnation from General Motors. new 2017 Chevy Bolt Release Date is set for late this year and, here at Muzi Chevy, we are excited by what the Bolt brings to the table for our Boston, Newton, Needham area customers.

The new Bolt is not the fastest, most powerful, most luxurious, or even the most affordable electric vehicle on the market but what the Bolt does offer is a unique combination of those elements which makes electric power accessible to the average American consumer, and that is a huge step forward. Ok, So What Does The 2017 Bolt Offer?

The new 2017 Chevy Bolt is a fully electric vehicle that Chevy is classifying as a station wagon. It provides over 200 miles of electric range on just one charge. Compare that to its cousin 2016 Chevy Volt plug in hybrid which offers a 50 mile range (up from 38 in the previous generation) or even the all-electric Nissan Leaf which provides drivers an 80 miles range. With performance like that you may be surprised to hear that the new Bolt is going to be available for around $30,000.

Spacious & Modern Interior

The new Bolt has a comfortable, modern interior that provides a feel similar to the BMW i3 or Tesla Model S for a much more reasonable price tag. It can comfortable sit 4-5 full size passengers without any problem and the rear hatch makes accessing cargo storage a breeze.


The Bolt, fittingly, comes with all of the latest modern technology as well. A floating center stack houses a slick 10.2 inch infotainment center that keeps the driver informed and connected. There is also some cool new camera functionality. By flipping a switch, the rearview mirror goes from a traditional reflection to an electronic screen that provides an 80 degree field of vision. There are also front, rear, and birdseye view cameras surrounding the vehicle providing the driver with optimal awareness.
